ApeChain is for everyone—including AI agents!
On Thursday, Yuga Labs CEO Garga put the “AI” in ApeCh(AI)n with an announcement that every AI agent created using AI16Z’s Eliza framework can now “ape” onto $Ape. This move appears to be laying the groundwork for Yuga Labs’ broader AI push later this year.
“All Eliza agents using the EVM plugin are now ApeChain enabled by default,” Garga tweeted along with a photo of Curtis and Gary looking up at a massive Eliza billboard.“Working with some killer teams to bring more on the AI front to ApeChain.”
As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Garga teased that he and the Wire Network team were creating Otherside AI Agents in December. He shared a flowchart that begins with an “iNPC (Interactive Non-Playable Character)” and ends with independent AI-driven characters capable of guiding narratives and generating quests for players.
Further, as recently as yesterday, Garga alluded to AI’s inclusion on Otherside, teasing “exciting stuff on the AI front” in his announcement of the first persistent version of the Otherside metaverse, set to launch in June 2025.
