TIME TO TRIPPY: This BAYC Member Aped Into A Trippy Fur Primate And Quickly Created Its Matching M1 Mutant!

As the timeline trips out over the Hayden Davis x Javier Milei Libra Coin scandal and OpenSea’s attempt at Blur-style farming, this Bored Ape Yacht Club member made a trippy move, trading his way into an unmutated Trippy Fur Ape, and he’s looking to complete the full set!

Things were anything but boring on Monday for BAYC member Crypr0xi, who purchased Bored Ape #6316, a six-trait Trippy Fur primate wearing a Guayabera shirt and a fisherman’s hat, for 28 ETH, or $76,000 USD.

“I’ve been on the lookout for the perfect trippy ape for a while now,” Crypr0xi told the Gazette. “The trippy trait has always stood out to me as one of the most unique and visually striking in the BAYC collection, and I knew I wanted to add one to my vault. But for me, it wasn’t just about the aesthetics—I specifically wanted a trippy ape that had never been mutated.”

Shortly after purchasing the Trippy Fur primate, Crypr0xi gave the ape an M1 serum to chug, creating Mutant Ape #22630, who is absolutely insane!

“My goal was to mint two fresh mutants and take part in the evolution of this ecosystem in a meaningful way,” Crypr0xi said. “Finding an unmutated trippy wasn’t easy, but when I came across this one, I knew it was the right pick. So far, I’ve already created my M1 mutant, and now I’m waiting patiently for the right moment to acquire a serum for M2. The anticipation is part of the fun, and I’m excited to see how the full set comes together. But this is just one step in my journey—my ultimate goal is to own a Gold Fur Bored Ape.”

After today’s pickup and mutation, Crypr0xi now holds two Bored Apes, three Mutants, 13 MoonBird Mythics, a Moonbird, and four Otherdeeds in his vault wallet.

Despite recent market moves, Crypr0xi is bullish on the future of Apes and the broader Yugaverse and can’t wait to see what happens next!
