History is in the air this evening as Yuga Labs prepares to welcome everyone from across the Web3 world and beyond to ape into the Otherside and take part in a potentially record-breaking event!

On Saturday, February 22nd, at 12 P.M. EST, community members from across the Yugaverse and gamers everywhere are invited to participate in this month’s episode of Yuga Labs’ Web3 shooter game, Project Dragon, and help set the world record for the most players in an online first-person shooter!

“This Saturday. 12 PM EST. Project Dragon goes live,” Yuga Labs tweeted from its Otherside account. “1,000+ players. One massive battle. We’re gunning for the Guinness World Record for the biggest FPS fight ever. Be there. Set up now: http://launch.otherside.xyz Google Chrome required.”
To break the record, Yuga Labs will need at least 1,531 players to ape into the Swamp and pew pew one another in an insane game that plays a bit like Fortnite combined with Call of Duty’s Domination mode, but with Apes, Meebits, Kodas, and Voyager Robots running around!

Again, this event is open to everyone and anyone. Invite your friends. Invite your mom. Invite your friend’s mom! No NFTs or crypto wallets are required. Simply create a Yuga ID linked with an email here, and you’ll be good to go!

The Bored Ape Gazette will bring you continued coverage leading up to tomorrow’s Project Dragon event and keep you posted on everything happening around the Swamp throughout the event. Stay tuned for updates!
