LEGENDARY LIST: This BAYC Member Is Compiling All 2,197 Gamers Who Helped Break The Guinness World Record For Most Players In An Online Shooter!

The Yugaverse has always been full of Web3 legends, but now it’s packed with Guinness World Record holders after a historic weekend, and this Bored Ape Yacht Club member Bored Shamrocks is working to compile a list of them all!

Last Saturday was anything but boring around the swamp when 2,197 Apes, Meebs, Kodas, Moonbirds, and gamers galore aped into the Otherside to compete in this month’s episode of Yuga Labs’ Web3 shooter game, Project Dragon, breaking the record for the most players in an online first-person shooter!

Following this record-breaking event, attendees celebrated with some copy-pasta fun on the timeline, tweeting “1 of 2,197. World Record Holder,” along with a photo of their PFP.

As more and more Apes and frens from around the swamp and beyond shared this copy-pasta, BAYC member Bored Shamrocks took it upon himself to compile these record-breaking legends into a thread!

“I just thought we need some sort of hall of fame for our Guinness World Record,” he said. “So I started to retweet those I stumbled upon in the thread. It is slightly less than 20 apes, mutants and Kodas I believe that have been added to the thread. So I am still far away from the record figure :). But that only proves how stunning our record was Apes together strong. Breaking the record was a team effort, which should be celebrated. Each participant was part of this record and deserves a shoulder clap as well as a place in the hall of fame of this stunning world record.”

Apes who were in attendance during Saturday’s Project Dragon event can get themselves added to Bored Shamrocks’ growing thread by DM’ing him or tagging him on X @ArtificialSham1.

The Bored Ape Gazette will continue to follow Bored Shamrocks’ list and will let you know when all 2,197 record holders are added! Stay tuned for updates!
