As ApeCoin continues to push Web3 culture forward on chain, the token made its debut on the small screen last week in a popular Apple TV show!

It was a Wednesday like any other for ApeChain enthusiast Gifr, until he tuned into a new episode of Mythic Quest, a sitcom that explores the challenges of running a video game company, and saw $Ape make an appearance.
“ApeChain on top!! Also – @apecoinwas just mentioned in the latest episode of Mythic Quest – An @AppleTVshow,” Gifr tweeted along with an eight second clip.
In the scene, Ian Grimm (played by Rob McElhenney), one of the show’s leads, asks if other characters will accept Bitcoin, Ethereum, or ApeCoin as payment.

“It felt great to hear Apecoin mentioned and gave me flashbacks to seeing it advertised in a variety of places (gas stations) during first launch,” Gifr told the Gazette.
Last week’s ApeCoin reference is not the first time that the Web3 world has made an appearance on the show, according to Gifr.. “Season 3 is when they start to mention NFT’s and Web3 items,” he said. “Including the idea of offering NFTs for free to gamers who accomplish specific quests/tasks. (Something we see in web3 a lot).”
With a new episode of Mythic Quest airing today, the Bored Ape Gazette will continue to follow the show to see if $Ape or the Apes make another appearance. Stay tuned for updates!
