FUSING FORWARD: Mutant Hounds Holders, Cartel Members & Apes Are Set To Forge A New Breed Of Hound!

Howling can be heard across the expanded Yugaverse this evening as Novel Labs prepares to invite Mutant Hounds holders, Cartel members, and  Apes to take part in the next chapter of the Mutant Hounds storyline—one that will culminate in a new breed of metaverse-ready, $Serum-rich pups!

On Friday, Mutant Hounds holders, Cartel Oath takers, and B/MAYC members will descend into the depths of Howl to participate in a fusing process—a transformation that requires combining their NFT with a special fusing material, obtained only by burning a Mutant Hound, to forge the next generation of Mutant Hounds.

“Everything Burns,” the Mutant Hounds project tweeted. “The Cartel Bosses have sent a substantial amount of Mutant Hounds to the incinerator in return for Fusing Materials. Fusion represents the 4th generation of collections in the Hounds saga, and the Great Burn has commenced. Buy directly or participate in any of the burning gates as you get prepared for Fusion. It all started in the Pit… Burn your Collars for a Hounds. It might be ritualistic, but burn your Hounds for Fusing Materials: Starting tomorrow, complete the final step by burning Fusing Materials for Fused Hounds.”

A maximum of 2,500 Mutant Hounds Fusion will be created by combining a fusing material with a Hound, Mutant Ape, or Cartel Oath. An additional 2,500 Mutant Hounds Fusion will be available in an upcoming Dutch auction.

These Mutant Hounds Fusion will come with larger $Serum token allocations and will eventually receive 3D models that are Otherside-ready. The proceeds from the Dutch auction will go to the $Serum DAO, according to Novel Labs.
