As Bitcoin and the broader crypto market head down to goblin town, the Gobs On Ape collection has just jumped to a 1,000+ $Ape floor price and is officially one of the most traded collections in all of Web3 today!
Gobs On Ape isn’t just a blue-chip ApeChain collection—it’s a blue-chip NFT collection! On Wednesday, as the markets dumped and KOLs filled the timeline with bearish takes, Gobs On Ape reached a new all-time high, just six days after the project’s free mint.
“BRO WE BROKE THE 1000 FP MARK,” ApeChain trenches Maxi Geist tweeted. “UP ONLY FROM HERE CONGRATZ TO EVERYONE !!! @GobsOnApeON TOP.”
At the time of this article’s publication, the 2,222 Gobs On Ape NFTs are held by 786 different wallets and have done nearly a million USD in trade volume, with a floor price of 1,100 $Ape, according to Magic Eden.
“You look at the amount of $ape and you think, “I’m too late to gobs”,” ApeChain’s Banana Bill Advisor Captain Trippy tweeted. “I like at it and think, “this shit is going so much higher” gud gobs. gud chain. apechain.”
As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Gobs On Ape is a free-mint art collection with no promised utility or roadmap, created by Yuga Labs’ Head of Engineering, James Hall. The collection launched on January 1, 2025. Unlike many NFTs on $Ape and other chains, these Goblins stand out not only for their unique art but also for their innovative tech. Gobs On Ape is the first on-chain ApeChain collection, according to Hall.
The Bored Ape Gazette will continue to follow the Gobs On Ape collection and keep you updated on what’s next for the hoard. Stay tuned for updates!
