Hey batter, batter. Swing! Bored Ape Yacht Club member and Major League Baseball Development Lead Kenny Gersh knocked a trippy trade out of the park today, adding one of the rarest primates to his collection!
From Take Me Out to the Ballgame to meet me at the clubhouse, things were anything but boring around the swamp for Gersh on Tuesday after he took a swing and acquired Bored Ape #7103 in a trade!

Bored Ape #7103 is a seven trait trippy fur primate with a wool turtleneck, a short mohawk, and wide eyes. Based on these traits, Bored Ape #7103 is the 526th, rarest Ape, according to Magic Eden.
To land this primate in a trippy trade, Gersh swapped 35 ETH (roughly $76,000 USD) and an insane M2 Mutant Ape, according to OpenSea data.

“I’m trippin’ @BoredApeYC,” Gersh tweeted along with a photo of his new Ape after the deal.
As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Gersh has been taking big swings around the swamp and ImprobableIo’s metaverse since late 2023. That’s when he and Major League Baseball first teamed up with Improbable to create a virtual ballpark that simulcast real baseball games, invited fans to explore, and let Apes ape in as their primates!

Following today’s purchase, Gersh now holds two Bored Apes, two Mutant Apes, four Bored Ape Kennel Club Dogs, two Kodas, two Meebits, nine Otherdeeds, a CryptoPunk, and a bunch of ApeChain NFTs between his two wallets. Take a closer look at his collection below:

The Bored Ape Gazette will continue to follow Gersh and keep you updated on his next move, whether it’s around the swamp or on the diamond! Stay tuned!
