KODA CREATIONS: The Timeline Is Looking Like The Otherside As Koda Holders Fill It With Their 3D Animated Mystical Creatures!

Kodas are the main characters on the Otherside—and the timeline this evening—after Yuga Labs released the mystical creatures’ 3D files, inspiring community members to start animating them!

Koda holders now have access to their 3D files, after Yuga Labs officially released them earlier today!

Following this announcement, the Koda community quickly aped into their files, transforming their 2D JPEGs into 3D characters! Check out some of the first community creations below:

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Koda holders can access their 3D files via the Otherside launch site. Once there, users can scroll to their Kodas and download their characters’ FBX, GLB, and Blend files.

To help community members understand and utilize their 3D files, Tropical Virtual dropped a video this afternoon, giving an overview of the available files.

One popular tool many Koda holders are using to bring their avatars to life is Blender. To get started, holders need to download the application and upload their Koda file. More information on Blender can be found on Twitter @Blender or on the official website: https://www.blender.org.

The Bored Ape Gazette will continue bring you Koda coverage tonight and is working on additional stories about what Kodas can do with their 3D files. Stay tuned for updates!

  1. Kodas in 3D, eh? Seems like a right laugh! Bet folks’ll be busy tinkering away. Animation’s a whole new ball game, innit?
