$Ape holders can make a name for themselves and get paid to do it, after D3inc’s ApeCoin DAO-funded Ape Names platform teamed up with ThankApe to reward community members for securing their digital identities!
On Tuesday, ThankApe announced that $Apes could earn up to 50 ApeCoin by purchasing top-level dot Ape domain names from Ape Names!

Through this initiative, $Apes can now earn 10 $Ape when they spend $30 USD, 20 $Ape when they spend $100 USD, and 50 $Ape when they spend $500+ USD on dot Ape domains, according to ThankApe.
D3inc’s dot Ape domains aren’t just another wallet-naming service. As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, these names will be interoperable across Web3, and D3inc will be applying to have Ape Names’ dot Ape recognized as a top-level domain by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) this year.
This move will allow the ApeCoin DAO to operate and monetize dot Ape domains, positioning the DAO alongside other top-level domains like dot Com and dot XYZ. According to D3 Inc. CEO and BAYC member Fred Hsu, this new revenue stream will benefit the DAO and $Ape holders as users and companies acquire their dot Ape domains.
