ApeChain felt more like a child’s birthday party on Sunday when 0xQuit launched his ApePinata game. The game invites everyone to send some $Ape to a contract address and possibly win the growing pot of tokens as more people ape in!
“Introducing ApePinata,” 0xQuit tweeted. “ApePinata is like ApeBomb but it starts with a target of just 100 $APE, instead of 100,000. Every time a winner is selected, the target goes up by 10% Winners get 98% of the pot. 2% feeds upwards, into ApeBomb Every time you send $APE, all of the yield for ApePinata’s holdings is redirected towards you (until somebody else sends $APE).”
Today’s ApePinata game comes 11 days after 0xQuit launched his larger-scale, on-chain, lottery-esque game, where users can send as little as 1 $Ape and possibly walk away with 100,000 $Ape when the contract fills with 100,000 tokens.
ApePinata is meant to complement ApeBomb and serves as a smaller-scale, daily-runner, lottery-esque game that also adds $Ape into the ApeBombs pool.
“ApeBomb is a rolling life-changer,” 0xQuit said. “It randomly allocates 100k+ ApeCoin to an entrant whenever it has enough ApeCoin to spare. Some people have expressed that 100k is hard to get to. I hear that, and it’s by design. It’s not meant to pick a winner every day, or even every week – it’ll take time. HOWEVER, I understand it might need a little push, so I built one.”
