Release the Fusion Hounds! Mutant Monday is going to be insane tomorrow as the Web3 world enters the pits of howl to mint 2,500 of a new breed of metaverse-ready and $Serum-rich Hounds!
Something is brewing in the expanded Yugaverse, and it sounds and looks insane! On Monday, February 24th, starting at 9 A.M. EST, everyone will be invited to join the pack of Fusion Hounds and take part in the next phase of these pups’ story by participating in the new collection’s auction, that’s open to everyone.
“The public sale is a Dutch Auction, open for 24 hours, with a starting bid price of 0.4 ETH and lowering periodically until it reaches a minimum bid of 0.1 ETH,” Novel Labs explained on its Mutant Hounds page. “A total of 2,500 Fused Hounds are available to mint. At the end of the auction, all bids revert to the lowest sale price. For those minted at a higher sale price, the ETH difference will be refunded via the contract within 24-36 hours of the auction finishing. Public sale mints are randomized among the four base Breeds, with a chance at Mega and Legendary rarities. Fused Hounds will start with a pre-reveal image indicating its Breed: Berserker, Ironbound, Juggernaut, or Reaper.”
Each Fused Hound comes with a 3D modeled and Otherside metaverse-ready dog, as well as an allocation of Novel Labs’ highly anticipated $Serum token.
“This is the largest production feat of Novel Labs and our pièce de résistance within the Mutant Hounds Saga,” the project wrote on its website. “Thousands of hours of work from several hands have ensured that the needlework present in the MAYC and Mutant Hounds is threaded throughout this evolving collection.”
All proceeds from tomorrow’s mint will go to the Serum DAO and will be used to fund the $Serum community’s projects and ideas when it officially opens later this year.
As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, the Serum DAO is open to everyone and anyone in the Mutant Cartel/Mutant Hounds ecosystem, as well as Mutant Ape Yacht Club members.
