Apes together strong’ isn’t just a phrase—it’s a reality that extends across the Yugaverse. From Punks and Meebits to Apes, Moonbirds, Kodas, Doggos, Voyagers, and beyond, the community is rallying around Natalie Stone after a wildfire destroyed her home!
2025 has begun tragically out west, as wildfires rage across California, scorching nearly 30,000 acres of land, destroying thousands of homes, and displacing countless families—including Yuga Labs’ CryptoPunks General Manager Natalie Stone.
“Our home didn’t make it, not sure what to say,” she tweeted along with a photo of the destruction. “It was really such a special space that we lovingly restored to its seventies glory…all that’s left are ashes and the most hauntingly beautiful view.”
Moved by Natalie’s loss, NebulaWeb3 and OG CryptoPunk minter BeautyAndPunk quickly took action, organizing a GoFundMe and a crypto equivalent, Giveth, to support Natalie in her time of need.
“Our beloved @NaughtalieStone just lost everything in the LA fires,” she tweeted. “Her home, the Disco Cabin, and all her belongings are gone. She needs our help to rebuild her life. Now is our time to give back.”
Within hours, members of the Yugaverse—including Apes, Punks, Meebits, Moonbirds, Kodas, Doggos, and Voyagers—came together, donating whatever they could to help.
“Our friend and extraordinary Yuga team-member heading up the cryptopunks team, Natalie Stone, lost her home and all of her possessions in the LA fires. I’m chipping in to help” Yuga Labs Co-Founder Gordon Goner tweeted. “Please share the below and donate if you can. Thank you.”
Thanks to this outpouring of support, over $26,000 has already been raised for Natalie!
