AI is My Enemy
That is what I originally thought when ChatGPT and ai-powered tools started popping up. I thought, I’ve trained and worked hard for years to be really good at what I do and now people with no talent can just tell a computer “Write an article about widgets. Make a graphic of a woman holding a widget. Write a tweet about the widget article.”. Magically the content they request is produced and actually pretty good.
Will AI replace me? My friends? My family? How many of us will be negatively affected by this advancement in technology?
A Different Outlook
I am reminded of a few quotes:
Do not get consumed, giving your energy toward things that are not in your control.
AI will not replace people. People who utilize AI will replace people who do not.
If you can’t beat ’em, join ’em.
These words brought peace to my frustration. After all, I am a techie; I needed to start exploring these new tools.
How Does the AI Water Feel?
ChatGPT has become my goto tool when I need to search for answers, not Google, not Siri, not Alexa. You can just talk to it like a human and for the most part it understands what you are trying to say, unlike those other tools mentioned which are more of “yes you can talk like a human but really you need to speak in the form of a command”.
If you are not sure what information it needs to be able to help you with a task, then just ask it what it needs and it will tell you. It truly is like having a human assistant who is super knowledgable.
My inspiration for writing this article was that I wanted to share how ai did writing code, but I don’t want that to be here at the end of an article. Not everyone reads this far, and I don’t want you to miss it! So stay tuned for part 2.

AI feels like a thief.
AI is confusing! I just want to cook and enjoy my hobbies!
Y’all ever tryin’ to chat with a machine? Sounds like a wild ride!
Yo, AI’s wild, but gotta keep hustlin’.
Bruv, gotta keep them skills sharp, innit? AI’s just another tool, fam.
Kinda wild how folks are feelin’ about AI. Gotta keep up with the times, I reckon.
Technology changes fast, huh? Back in my day, we just had to keep learning. Times are different now.
Feeling real stressed about AI. Hope it helps, not hurts!
Worrying about AI might be too much. It could bring new opportunities, just like exploring new places or learning about the past. Change can be good, right?
Change ain’t always good. New tech can mess things up. Opportunities? Sure, but risks too. Too much reliance ain’t smart. We gotta be careful, especially with something like AI. It’s like base jumping; one wrong move and it’s over.
Change brings fresh chances! Embracing new tech can lead to amazing discoveries and growth.
New tech’s a right faff, though. Sometimes, old ways keep things simple and steady, innit?
Change often complicates things more than it helps. Sometimes, sticking to what we know can be more stable and fulfilling, especially in gardening and life.
Change can bring new growth and possibilities, though.
Change often creates more stress than growth; stability has its own benefits too.
